Scanography

Scanography is a photographic technique that uses a flatbed scanner instead of a traditional camera to create highly detailed and often surreal images. By placing objects directly on the scanner bed, scanography captures them with sharp focus and unique lighting, often resulting in a three-dimensional, almost painterly effect. Unlike conventional photography, scanography lacks depth of field, giving the images a distinctive flatness combined with extreme detail.
Part of this series was exhibited in a group show in Tel Aviv, Zilum Ba’am Photography School and published in Dodho Magazine.
